Upcoming Events this week!
Upcoming Events This Week!
Missing your regular MOPS meetings over the summer? Don't fret, we have some great activities coming up this week!
Join us for a fun day at the park this Tuesday, August 11th at 10am at Cedar Hills Park (5600 Sweetbrier St)! RSVP on our facebook event HERE so we know to look for you! We hope to see you there!
Crossroads is hosting a Women's forum Launch into Fall event this Wednesday, August 12th, from 6:30 to 8:30pm at the North Lobby of their Millbrook campus. There will be representatives available from many bible studies and Women's groups (including our wonderful MOPS group), so you can find out first-hand what each organization is all about. There will also be some yummy snacks and loads of fellowship so you won't want to miss this fun event!
Childcare will be provided if there are at least 10 children preregistered. If they do not have the required number of children registered by August 10, they will cancel child care and notify those who have signed up to make other arrangements for their children.

This Friday, August 14th from 7-9pm at the worship center of their Millbrook location, Crossroads is hosting a fun back-to-school event for kids of all ages to help end summer well and start off the Fall with a bang! (childcare not provided)
Experience an unforgettable journey into mystery, wonder and a reflection of truth. Through his sleight of hand & misdirection, master illusionist Harris III reveals the everyday deceptions that detour us from the Truth. His performance will open eyes, ears, and hearts to the wonders around us... to what truly matters!
Enjoy a time of fellowship immediately following the show! Be our guest for a free frozen treat, or splurge and purchase a special delight from one of five food trucks on site.

What Is MOPS? Facebook Event
On August 18th we are going to host an Online Facebook Event to promote our group.
Over the past few years, almost all of our moms have heard about our group through two ways: Word-of-Mouth and Facebook.
Also in the past we have had many ladies contact us about our group, but have yet to attend a meeting because they still seem uneasy about putting themselves out there or are still unclear about what it's all about.
We will be able to share all sorts of great info and “party” online
with these women. They will be able to take their time reading and
learning about MOPS from the comfort of their own home.
We will invite everyone from our group (I was unable to add everyone... only "friends" so please join and add those who I could not reach). I also encourage you to invite all their mommy friends.
We will continue to post about it on our public Facebook page but we need your help by sharing the event on your own personal wall, in other local groups that apply to moms....it's the key to this!!! Basically anywhere we could to reach the moms in our area! Even if they were not a mother of little ones, we encouraged them to share.
Now it's your turn.... invite and share away! The more moms that get invited, see the event, know about it and hear about it, the better!!!
The event is linked through our Public Facebook page.
