Becoming the Beloved: November 28 meeting

At our last meeting, we watched a video from MOPS, Intl. about "Becoming the Beloved." Mike Foster, of People of the Second Chance, discussed how freedom comes when we operate from a framework of love rather than a framework of anxiety, stress and fear. This message is particularly relevant as we navigate the holidays and all of the responsibilities and stress that often accompany this time of year. We spent much of the meeting in discussion time about what things cause us anxiety and how we can hand those things over to God and let go of the stress and fear in our lives.

If you missed this great message or would like to watch it again, please find the link in our email newsletter.

We also held our first Christmas Toy & Decoration Swap! This was a fun opportunity to pass along some of the items no longer needed in our own homes and to pick out a few things that can be appreciated again! All items that were left were donated to the Missions Thrift Store.

It's the time of year... when we bless our childcare workers with Christmas gift bags! We'll be collecting small gifts (under $5) or handwritten letters for the workers in your child's class. Please bring to our December MOPS meeting and we will compile the gifts into labeled bags for each childcare worker. Here's a list of workers in each room: (Please see below image if you are unsure which room your child is in, or feel free to email us if you have any questions.)
